    配分額：4160000円 （ 直接経費：3200000円 、 間接経費：960000円 ）

    今年度は、昨年度に続き当該研究に関するの質問紙データを分析した。主に、質問紙では、英語を第二言語として学ぶ日本人大学生を対象に、Trait Emotional intelligence、ストレス、バーンアウト、エンゲージメントの関係を調査している。参加者は184名で、時系列で測定するため学期開始時と学期終了時の2回に渡り回答をしてもらっている。
    <BR>
    共分散構造分析および回帰分析の結果、（１）Trait Emotional intelligenceはストレスおよびバーンアウトに対して負の予測因子であることが明らかになった。さらに、（２）ストレスはTrait Emotional intelligenceとエンゲージメントの関係を媒介していることが分かった。また、（３）バーンアウトはエンゲージメントの負の予測因子であった。クラスター分析およびANOVAにより、Trait Emotional intelligenceが高い参加者は低い参加者に比べ、ストレスとバーンアウトのスコアが有意に低く、エンゲージメントのスコアが高いことが分かった。これらの結果は、Trait Emotional intelligenceを高めることで、第二言語学習者のストレスとバーンアウトを軽減し、エンゲージメントを高める可能性を示唆している。

    これらを論文にまとめ、現在国際誌に投稿中である。
